I can't say enough good about this product. I have a workshop where I do precise shaping of wood and tooling of leather. While the lighting in my workshop is adequate for most tasks, when I need to get a close look at my progress as I work, I need a strong, direct light as my eyes aren't what they used to be... The light is bright and the flexible goose neck allows me to move it to whatever position I need...

The overall quality of the material and the use of a strong, flexible goose
neck make it an excellent work light. The clamp alleviates the problem of using
work space for a desk top lamp and the position of the switch on the power cord
all make this a great work light. I couldn't improve on the design if I tried.

I bought this lamp in September because we are hosting an international student and he needed a desk lamp. I wanted something cheap, durable, and that wouldn't require a fussy, hard-to-find bulb. Our student uses this lamp all the time. Because the neck is so flexible, when he isn't studying he can turn the light up toward the ceiling and it makes a good general light for the room that is softer than turning on the overhead light. I go in there to dust every 2 weeks and am surprised how little dust shows up on this thing. It's amazing. Very pleased and would buy it again.
